Payment Options
We accept various payment methods including Cash, Visa, MasterCard, WeChat & Ali Pay, Debit and Personal Cheque for your convenience.
Insurances
At Dr. Joyce Wu Dental Kerrisdale, we accept most dental insurance plans. We are happy to assist our clients to find out if the treatments are covered by your insurance provider. However, it is your own responsibility to provide us with updated dental coverage information and any relevant information, such as changes to your plan, any recent claims and/or past treatment that may affect your coverage. We are happy to submit a predetermination to your plan provider. A predetermination provides you with an estimate of what costs your dental plan will cover and what you will be responsible for. Please be aware this is not a guarantee of coverage.
We also accept BC Healthy Kids Program (MSH), however, a co-payment will be required to pay the fee difference between 2024 Standard Dental Fee Guide and 2017 MSH BC Child Fee Guide, you may also apply for the Canadian Dental Benefit by yourself to cover the co-payment.
Canada Dental Care Plan
Our office gladly accepts the Canada Dental Care Plan (CDCP). To learn more about the application process and eligibility criteria, please visit the federal government’s Canadian Dental Care Plan web page.
Cancellation and Missed Appointments
We strive to provide high-quality dental care to you and all of our patients. We make sure to reserve enough time for each important treatment, therefore, we will require a minimum 24 hours notice if you can’t show up for the appointment as scheduled, so we will have a chance to offer the opportunity to other patients in need.
If you miss an appointment without contacting our office within the required time, a fee of $50.00 will be charged to you; this fee will be your responsibility and can’t be billed to the insurance company. Furthermore, no future appointment can be scheduled nor can records be transferred without the payment.
